"Como un decorado listo para que dé comienzo la función. Así de elegante se presenta este piso que en su día fue un despacho en una finca clásica del Eixample de Barcelona, y hoy, gracias al trabajo de Victoria Belousova y su estudio, Victoria Interiors, un hogar luminoso y acogedor. Situado en la última planta de un edificio histórico, este hogar ha nacido para enamorar a quien lo habita, en este caso, una pareja con hijos ya mayores que viven entre Estados Unidos, Israel y España, que buscaba su pequeño rincón cocoon en el mundo. Ventanales en arco, techos altos y una terraza que atrapa el cielo barcelonés convierten este espacio en un refugio único, donde el diseño interior dialoga con la belleza de la arquitectura clásica. El proyecto es una oda al equilibrio que respeta la esencia de un edificio centenario mientras se reinventa. "Siempre me imagino viviendo en cada casa, para sacar el máximo provecho del espacio, dándole toda la utilidad a cada rincón y creando una óptima fluidez a la hora de diseñar", comenta Belousova, cuya sensibilidad queda plasmada en cada detalle de esta reforma integral, que duró un año. "Tiramos los tabiques que había y los construimos nuevamente acorde a la nueva distribución. Tuvimos que retirar los techos antiguos, restaurar las ventanas de madera antiguas, picar y volver a enyesar paredes", relata la interiorista. Además, al ser un piso en esquina no había muchas líneas rectas, otro reto, añadido a las peticiones del cliente: dos habitaciones en suite, un despacho (con sofá-cama), cocina, salón para recibir amigos y una entrada amplia e impactante. Las molduras de escayola ("la propietaria valora mucho el trabajo artesanal y decidimos colocar cornisas y molduras artesanales", asegura Belousova), la chimenea de mármol tallada a mano y los muebles diseñados a medida se combinan con antigüedades y arte moderno, ideando un ambiente ecléctico, lleno de personalidad. Justo lo que buscaban. Todo un acierto."

CON IDENTIDAD Y ESTILO
Los arcos de las ventanas, los techos altos, la altura del inmueble y su luz fueron los detonantes para que sus nuevos propietarios se decantaran por su adquisición. El reto, sin duda, residía en la reconversión espacial. Había que diseñar dos dormitorios en suite, un despacho con sofá-cama, apto como dormitorio, cocina, salón para recibir amigos y una entrada amplia e impactante. Así fue como desaparecieron los paramentos verticales originales y los techos antiguos, en busca de una reconfiguration acorde a las nuevas necesidades. A pesar de desafíos como la geometría irregular de la planta y espacios orientados al patio de luces, se lograron ambientes acogedores y luminosos mediante madera clara, colores cálidos y plantas. Molduras artesanales, mobiliario a medida, piezas antiguas y arte moderno realzan un diseño atemporal pero acogedor, donde destaca la estética clásica-modernista del estudio con toques personalizados.
Las aberturas en arco son una constante en este proyecto, un detalle que realza el estilo clásico de la propuesta y que sirve para poner en valor la altura de los techos. En blanco o negro, la elegancia está garantizada.
Planta de la vivienda Al tratarse de una antigua oficina, hubo que hacer una reforma integral, retirando los tabiques originales y reconstruyéndolos de nuevo de acuerdo a la nueva distribución que se buscaba.

The project is an ode to balance that respects the essence of a century-old building while reinventing itself. "I always imagine living in each house, to make the most of the space, giving every corner all the usefulness and creating optimal fluidity when designing," says Belousova, whose sensitivity is reflected in every detail of this comprehensive renovation, which It lasted a year. "We tore down the existing partitions and built them again according to the new distribution. We had to remove the old ceilings, restore the old wooden windows, chop and re-plaster walls," says the interior designer. In addition, being a corner apartment, there were not many straight lines, another challenge, added to the client's requests: two en-suite bedrooms, an office (with sofa bed), kitchen, living room to receive friends and a large and impressive entrance. The plaster moldings ("the owner highly values craftsmanship and we decided to place cornices and moldings artisanal," says Belousova), the hand-carved marble fireplace and the custom-designed furniture are combined with antiques and modern art, creating an eclectic environment, full of personality. WITH IDENTITY AND STYLE
The arches of the windows, the high ceilings, the height of the property and its light were the triggers for its new owners to opt for its acquisition. The challenge, without a doubt, lay in spatial reconversion. It was necessary to design two en-suite bedrooms, an office with a sofa bed, suitable as a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room to receive friends and a spacious and impressive entrance. This is how the original vertical walls and old ceilings disappeared, in search of a reconfiguration according to the new needs. Despite challenges such as the irregular geometry of the floor plan and spaces facing the light well, cozy and bright environments were achieved through light wood, warm colors and plants. Handcrafted moldings, custom furniture, antique pieces and modern art enhance a timeless but cozy design, where the classic-modernist aesthetic of the studio stands out with personalized touches.
The arched openings are a constant in this project, a detail that enhances the classic style of the proposal and that serves to highlight the height of the ceilings. In black or white, elegance is guaranteed.
